This is a sturdy tabletope microphone stand with a sturdy, solid cast-iron base, a telescoping shaft with locking clucth and top lock ring. There are five ruber nubbins on the bottom for stability.
It easily holds a one-pounf Neumann U87Ai with shock mount and pop screen, and certainly any smaller rmicrophone.
