The Kamvas Pro 13 graphics tablet is a well-made and highly functional pen display with many uses. It caters not only to artists and animators but to photographers and editing enthusiasts as well. Overall, despite its relatively low price point, it does not disappoint!

Compared to other tablets on the market, Huion’s new line offers outstanding performance at an affordable cost. With virtually no lag, accurate pen tracking, good pressure sensitivity, and a modern appearance, the Kamvas Pro 13 has a quality similar to that of far more expensive pen displays. In addition to this, its customizability is great; All 7 side buttons, as well as the two pen buttons, can easily be set to either individual keys or specific shortcuts from the driver app. Even better, you can import settings from specific apps such as Photoshop or Illustrator so your buttons are ready to go depending on what you’re working on.

Of course, as should be mentioned, the colors are shockingly fantastic. With a QLED 145% sRGB color gamut display, the colors are vibrant and accurate. However, calibration is important and may take a while if you wish to get the most out of it - the colors tend to be inaccurate out-of-box. This can be managed in the tablet’s settings.

Its 2,560 × 1,600 at 226 PPI display has exactly the same size and resolution as 13" MacBook Pro Retina display!

Huion is about the world's second-largest maker of pen tablets.

This is a brand-new model you can order today and it should ship in the second half of March 2022.

It does have its issues, but all in all, the Kamvas Pro 13 is a superb choice for creators of all kinds looking for a high-quality yet affordable option.

I'd get it at Amazon or eventually used at eBay if you know How to Win at eBay.

Besides the difficult setup and connectivity issues, using the Kamvas Pro 13 is a very satisfying experience. After the frustrating troubleshooting, it's very simple to work with. The driver, which you can download from Huion’s website, has a very straightforward layout including panels for testing pressure and angle sensitivity. The driver also allows the user to easily customize their tablet and pen buttons, which can even be dedicated to shortcuts and multimedia controls.

As for the experience of actually using the tablet, it’s very pleasant. The pen accuracy was even better than expected, and the pressure was applied consistently. The anti-glare glass was perfect; The screen was easy to view even in bright conditions. One aspect of the screen that wasn’t the best, though, was the texture. If the pen (using the standard nibs) is pressed too hard, some areas almost seem slightly rough. However, if pressed too gently, it seems to lack friction. It’s easy to get used to after a week or two of use. You may even grow to like it and use it to your advantage. It all comes down to personal preference.

Considering all of the facts, the Kamvas Pro far outperforms its price. It has its positives and negatives, but you’re certainly getting your money’s worth.

I'd get it at Amazon or eventually used at eBay if you know How to Win at eBay.

At the end of the day, the Kamvas Pro 13 is quite an impressive graphics tablet for such an affordable price. Although there are better pen displays out there such as Wacom’s Cintiq line, not everyone is willing to spend upwards of $1,000. With Huion’s Kamvas Pro, you’re getting all you pay for and beyond. Although it definitely has plenty of problems, the overall quality is astonishing! It’s portable, durable, useful, and exceeds almost all expectations. In conclusion, assuming you’re prepared to troubleshoot, the Kamvas Pro is undoubtedly worth the money and will be an excellent companion on your creative journeys.

Hint: The included connection guide makes no sense. Ignore it and just connect to the USB-C, Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 port of a modern computer (all Macs have had these for a few years) with the included 3'/1m high-speed 10 Gb/s USB-C to USB-C cable or a Thunderbolt 3 cable or Thunderbolt 4 cable and just one cable connects power and data and the screen image. You can ignore any need for external power supplies, multiple cables or breakout cables unless you're trying to connect to an older computer (or maybe Windows computers) that lack the latest connections. If you use merely a conventional USB-C charge cable (they look the same) you will get power, but it won't connect or get a picture as conventional charge cables lack the bandwidth to display the ultra-high resolution screen image.

I'd get it at Amazon or eventually used at eBay if you know How to Win at eBay.
