300 - 1,200mm equivalent (!), 95mm filters, 0.35× macro ratio (0.7× eq!), 72.6 oz. (2,060 g).
Holy cow, OM SYSTEM just took the Birder's Dream lens, the M.Zuiko 150-400mm f/4.5 TC which is a 300-800mm equivalent with an internally switchable 1.25× converter to make it a 375-1,000mm f/5.6 equivalent lens, and for one-third the price this new lens covers an even broader and longer range of focal lengths, without the need for the converter! Of course this new lens isn't quite as fast, but for saving $4,800 with a better zoom range, I'm all in.
Add the MC-20 2× converter and it becomes a 300-1,200mm (600 - 2,400mm equivalent) lens!

You can get a gray-market verison at Amazon for $79.54, or the USA version for $99.99!
My expectation of the 9mm is that it ought to be super sharp.
It’s inexpensive because it's:
1.) A fixed f/8 (no diaphragm needed) and
2.) It’s manual zone focus, which is swell because it has essentially unlimited depth of field and also therefore has no need for an AF mechanism and
3.) It’s not a 180º fisheye, just an 140º which also makes it super easy to design to be ultra sharp and tiny. It only needs a very simple optical design.
