10 November 2008, Monday We had snow overnight. This morning it was warmer than usual, about 30ºF (0ºC). Previous mornings it was only about 20ºF (-5ºC). Adobe Wall Motel, Taos, New Mexico. It was dark and gray all day, so I didn't bother making any photographs; instead I merely made digital captures.

12 November 2008, Wednesday We bid the group good-bye, and headed our separate ways. I headed west, and wound up again in Seligman right at sunset. Sunset at Seligman Shell, Seligman, Arizona. THe weird dark band across the upper left is real: the 14mm lens sees such a huge expanse of sky that you're seeing the sky's natural polarization. THis is why you don't dare use a polarizer with ultrawide lenses, which would exaggerate this.
